A San Diego native, Jeff's musical education began in the public school system. After graduating from San Diego High, he concentrated on his instrument of choice - the guitar. Soon thereafter, Jeff was asked to take in students of his own. He has been teaching guitar as well as performing throughout southern California for over 30 years.

Currently Jeff teaches all styles of guitar to students ranging in age from six to sixty plus. His students learn by playing music they enjoy, while receiving instruction in reading music and music theory. A popular teacher at Guitar Trader/Music Power in Kearny Mesa, some of Jeff's lesson materials have been published on line.
